I love how your video’s are no BS, you just get straight into things
I just have to let yall know. I bought the m27up. And…it has horrible vignetting. Or at least mine did. No ips glow to speak of, and the blacks looked great. But the vignetting made me miss my old TN panel from 2014. Because losing 50% brightness on the last 10 percent or so of the sides when sitting right in front of it. Is just unacceptably bad. That completely negates the ips viewing angle advantage, when it turns into a gray blob on anything but dead on.
I also got an Alienware aw2725dm at the same time, and kept it. The glow is tolerable. It isnt as good in motion as the gigabyte monitor, but still over 2x better than my old VA panel was. And its a nice panel. Comparable to the asus rog strix aw275acs i think it is.
Still looking though, because there has to be some IPS monitor that doesnt have glow or vignetting of some kind. It seems like its just the tolerances are left too flimsy. While professional monitors can have great blacks. Gaming monitors are left with crappy qc to where its a lottery.
so i should get the GIGABYTE M27UP if i dont care about the graphics and just want a good monitor for gaming
