As pointed out in the comments, PlayStation does in fact more than one company making pro controllers
Nacon makes a feature loaded (yet controversial) PS4/PS5 controller.
SCUF also makes a controller, but they’ve always made custom controllers so I didn’t include them. Not to mention their reputation of reliability issues throughout their history.
Victrix/Turtle Beach makes a (wait for it) swappable module controller for PS5. The reputation of both companies and their controllers is laughable these days, as they make some of the least reliable controllers one could buy.
What would’ve been more accurate is A: no one makes an affordable PS pro controller and B: there aren’t many good ones.

I spent over $500 for my custom Battle Beaver PS5 controller and I have no regrets! Best controller hands down!
