Keep in mind the OLED version is curved at 1800R instead of 1000R as is the VA panel. The wider the screen, the more curve you want to feel better immersed. i.e. if you had a second screen you would angle it towards you instead of having it facing straight toward the wall behind you. OLED doesn’t have a better viewing angle but it’s still going to feel weird.
I bought this at the same time for the same reason. But I’ve seen videos that costo has it for down to 500 dollars in similar sales. This monitor is really nice. It’s my long term upgrade. I’ll use this for 10-15 years realistically. Not upgradeing until qdel(nanoled) or something out does oled and replaces it.
It’s even easier to use the height of the box to slide the screen onto the desk with the box closed. open the box and put the stand on. Then be careful and lift it into position on the stand with the box and safety stuff still on it. As you can grab the stand and the handles on the side. But you have to turn it around without knocking it off the desk. The height makes it really easy to get it onto the desk. Then after it’s upright remove the box etc.
