Used is a great way to buy. I got the following used:
300 CAD Fluance signature tower speakers
130 CAD Polk PSW10 Subwoofer
100 CAD Sony DN540 AVR
This starting out has so much power for so little investment.
Then I built on this with new speakers when I had the money.
Soundbar killer=klipsch, the fives, and a klipsch r120sw.
I did Bose and was totally disgusted with my purchase of over three grand was horrific
Going the thrift store route. Just picked up a Sony strdh590 receiver for $25 at the goodwill, it retails for $450. About to pick up some Polk audio RTI-A1’s and a CS-10 center channel for another $80. Decent system for about $100 and then I want to add some used towers if I find a good deal on a good brand. Sounds great so far.
