So… ive got a 144hz monitor… I dont see any difference, Is it just that my pc is slow?
I have two screens and I’m playing the classic Splinter Cell game, the first one. I have both locked at 60 Hz on my 60 Hz only; it’s tearing and not very smooth with camera movement. But on my other 240 Hz screen, which I locked to 60, there’s no tearing and it’s way smoother. So yeah, it’s a big difference. Even if you can’t hit 240 Hz, having a higher Hz screen will smooth out even the 60 or 30 much better compared to a native 60 Hz or 30 Hz screen.
This is bullshit. fps =/= Hz. Higher Hz doesn’t mean your fps will magically get better if the game is capped at 60fps or if your GPU is not enough. An it’s fps that garants smoohness but that visible even on 60Hz monitor. In other words you can’t really capture Hz on video you only capture gpu output.
